The result of a DNA paternity test is either an exclusion (the alleged father is not the biological father), or an inclusion (the alleged father is considered the biological father). HOW IS THE DNA COLLECTED?  
Many times people have the misconception that a blood test is required for DNA testing.   Breathe a sigh of relief, no needles are required.  A cotton swab is inserted into the mouth (buccal area) and rubbed on the inside cheek surface.  This is painless and takes only a few minutes.  Even premature babies can be tested in this manner with the cooperation of the attending physician.

CAN THESE RESULTS BE USED IN COURT?
Absolutely.  Our laboratory is AABB accredited and the "chain-of-custody" is maintained so that the results are accepted in courtrooms throughout the country and even recognized by embassies for immigration purposes.
